J&S Collective is a Brisbane based dynamic music duo with the ability to cater to a variety of genres. Formed in Early 2025, James Oehlerich and Selma Becirbegovic bring together their diverse influences, creating a signature sound that resonates with audiences of all kinds,
Known for their Live performances, James and Selma have gathered years of experience in music and live gigging. Over the past year they have collaborated in various bands and duo performances. James has been playing guitar since the age of 9 and began live performances around Brisbane at the age of 11 including venues The Cave Inn and Chromestreet fiesta along with various other events. Selma has been singing since the age of 6, gaining experience through vocal lessons and live performances since she was 12. As part of one of their bands Ultraviolet, James and Selma participated in the Battle of the Bands event hosted at Clairvaux Mackillop College, with Ultraviolet scoring 2nd best band overall.
Currently, J&S Collective is working on various duo sets, promising versatility across all venues and gigs. James and Selma aim to gain experience in the music industry and to progress their music career together in person and online.
