Nope! Ben has plenty of guitars at his studio, so you can play around, get started, and get the basics down before you commit to buying an instrument.

Ben gigs with, is hired on, and teaches, both! Even if you only have an acoustic, but you’d love to learn some electric guitar, Ben has extra instruments here so you can give it a go

The short answer is, no. Ben has taught many beginners ranging from 6 years old to 60 years old. Different ages present their own unique quirks with learning to guitar (for instance, reaching the frets can be a little tricky for young children), but as explained earlier, the most important thing is to get your journey started, work out where your strengths and weaknesses are, and optimise for the best results as quick as possible!
